This flipbook is a great activity to accompany the awesome book "I Need My Monster by Amanda Noll. I love reading this story to my students around Halloween time and now they have some activities in a handy flipbook to complete about the book. It's a great book for inferring and the students LOVE it. There are reading and writing connections, as well, in this fun activity!

What's in the flipbook?
✔ Title Page
✔ Characters Page: List characters, describe, and give traits.
✔ Vocabulary Page: I chose some of the challenging vocabulary from the book and students must list if there are affixes and a synonym and antonym for each one.
✔ Onomatopoeia Page: Students list examples from the book. There are lots!
✔ Description of Gabe: Students fill out the web about Gabe and then describe him in sentence form.
✔ Picture of Gabe: Based on the descriptions, students must draw a picture of Gabe (recommend you stop before they see Gabe to do this)
✔ Writing Prompt: Students must rewrite the story from the point of view of Gabe.
