Perks of Using These 4th and 5th-Grade Math Puzzles

What I love most about these math puzzles is how easy they are to implement in the classroom. They are truly made available with just a link that can work in any browser on any internet-connected device. You don’t have to worry about students being able to log in to programs. You don’t even have to get them into their Google Classrooms or onto Canvas. You can just put the link on the board, or have it pulled up on a stationary computer in your room, and they can go to work.

Each of these Math Puzzles

  • Are fully digital, which means no prep for you.
  • Work in ANY browser or internet-connected device.
  • Are self-checking.
  • Are academically engaging.
  • Easily accessed with just a link.

Since these 4th and 5th-grade math puzzles are so easy to access, are self-checking, and don’t require any additional prep, they can easily be added to a variety of situations in the classroom, including partner work, small groups, early finishers, daily centers, independent practice, 1:1 classrooms, and distance learning.

I really like these math puzzles for when students will be gone for a few days. In elementary school, it’s common for students to go on vacations with families and be gone for a few school days. This doesn’t bother me because I have good resources, like these math puzzles I can send them to work on while they’re gone.
